Molly Johnson holds an a MSc. in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics and a B.A. (Hons) in History in Art from the University of Victoria.

She has worked as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of City Planning at the University of Manitoba and as a Program and Policy Analyst for the Province of Manitoba’s Urban Development Branch. Most recently she was the Project Coordinator for the 2014 Year of Urban Ideas, based at the Winnipeg Arts Council, which included the development of the Creative Placemaking Challenge and City Builders Camp. She is also an avid gardener and hobby beekeeper.
