David Patman currently works as a Transit Planner in the Service Development Division at Winnipeg Transit. David has worked as a transportation planning engineer for the last 13 years in both the public and private sectors.

Alongside his regular day-to-day work, David is excited to be involved in both the second phase of the Southwest Rapid Transit corridor project, and the early stages of investigation/study of other rapid transit corridors in Winnipeg. David enjoys working collaboratively with engineers and planners, resolving problems and helping to make communities better places to live and work. David's chief interests in transportation planning are safe and active routes to school programs, active modes, forecasting, and transit-oriented development.
